More about Megan
I was born in an idyllic seaside town, on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. After living and working in the same town for 21 years I wanted to go to University and also wanted a change of scenery.
I moved to Hobart, Tasmania in 2008 to begin her Arts/Law degree ad eventually settled in Kingston, south of sleepy Hobart. Kingston is also a beautiful seaside town, I have been very lucky to live in some of Australia's most beautiful cities.
I graduated in 2013 and moved to Melbourne, Victoria to begin an internship with a large law firm, specialising in Criminal Law. After working and studying the law for 6 years I needed a break and I turned my passion for travel and organisation into a career. I began working for one of the worlds largest travel companies but I felt something was missing.
I had enough of sending people off on their dream adventures and giving great advice on how to achieve their travel dreams, although I never took my own advice.
In 2015 I decided I was going on my own adventure, finally.Together with Dean, I packed my bags and made the move to South Korea to teach English as a second language with the primary objective of saving money and using Korea as a base from which to travel.
Departing from a regimented life, I have found time for her lifetime passion for history and writing and I am currently completing a historical-fiction novel and a series of short stories based on the people I have met during my adventures under M.M Formanek.
I believes that just because you do a degree or work in a particular field does not mean you have to do that same thing for the rest of your life, especially if it makes you unhappy or stops you from doing the things you love. Just like my food, I want life to be like a smorgas board, and I want to try a little bit of everything!

My dream trip would be : Skarra Brae, Orkney Islands, Scotland and touring the old viking sites of Sweden.
